Dear Readers,
There is a town called Augusta Georgia, where one of the biggest golf tournaments in the USA is played every year, called The Masters. The small toen gets thousands of vositors and there is often a shortage of hotel, motel and rental housing units. So poliitics and power being what they are to each other, the US COngress created a tax deduction for peopleliving in the toen to rent their homes and rental units to visitors of this town tax free. That is they are not taxed on this income. This swwet deal allows them to rent their properties out 4 times a year for 7 days and keep all the rent money.
It's a beautiful piece of government corruption.
But it has evolved overtime to not just benefit the landowners of Augusta Georgia. It has transitioned into a tax law allowing any business owner to rent their own home to their own business four times a year, for 7 days, at market rent and the income is entirely tax deductible. You just need the official rent papers stating when your business ness will rent your place, you need to set aside space just to be used by your business, and pay from the business to your pocket.
It's a lovely gift to the wealthy and it's perfectly legal.
I especially suggest that if you are a techies you consider renting space with specialized equipment for a conference held by your company.
It's a nice way to reduce your taxable income.
So long for now and my Tx Deductions be with you.
