The End of another day.

  • As my day ends I am greeted by a beautiful sunset.
  • ‘The day seemed to fly by quickly, and I am again reminded of how fleeting time is…
  • Trading time for money is a great bargain when your young because you seem to have your whole life ahead of you, and you should work hard so you can enjoy yourself later.
  • ‘But the truth is, that enjoying tomorrow is a dream like fantasy unless you have a plan to make it come true.
  • A plan to free yourself from the rat race, payoff your bills, save money, invest in assets, and stop working every day, trading time for money.
  • I always told my kids that ”Failing to plan, was the same thing as planning to fail.”
  • I think they thought it was a harmless rhyme for many years, but now that they are young adults, they see it as a great truth.
  • My daughter, a great planner, has countless stories about being the only one of her group with plans, and always getting to do what she wanted because the others were content to go with the flow.
  • But as you get older you are confronted with the reality that you can’t work forever.
  • We all get old and some will get sickly, and surely we will get to the point where we will just be able to eat, sleep and tend our gardens.
  • What will we do then?
  • Pensions, Dividend paying stocks and other investments will hopefully pay us income we can survive on when we are older.
  • ‘That’s one reason I invest in Hive, Leofinance and other things which create passive income.
  • ‘Because one day that’s all I will be is passive. My days of earning income from my labor will one day come to an end.
  • ‘But I think I will be ready.
  • How about you? Do you have a plan?
