Hi, I'm back! Today I want to talk about the CCTV. At my academy there are several CCTVs and they monitor the students wherever and whenever. It is not a special case that CCTV exist in the classrooms in Korean academy for students' secure. But they are not for monitor the students study. However my academy teacher monitors the CCTV by his smartphone so often.
Also, the CCTV can record the sound and if students talking at the free study room our cell phones rang and we can find the message that don't talk in the study room. I can understand until that because it's for student's study. But we are not children. Most of us are adults and we can judge ourselves.
The one of the worst thing is that if he can't find a student when he watch CCTV, he sends a message to student Where are you? That happens even though the student is in a classroom. I couldn't recognise how often he monitors them but when I started to get the messages and talking about this with other students, I could notice how often he monitoring them.
After that I felt scared. When I take lessons I sometimes feel annoyed because of the CCTV and the feeling that he is watching us. I think it's not a good way to manage the students and it can be human rights abuse. What do you think about this problem?
