Hello music lovers, welcome to hive open mic world wide live music event week #158 with the theme; Lets defeat the distance. I'll be presenting a song titled "I give myself away" by William McDowell.

Have known this song for awhile now and I love it alot because it's a very powerful song that talks about surrendering oneself to God. It's a good thing to have a good fellowship and intimacy with God.

I could remember the story of Jonah in the Bible someone who God instructed to go to a particular city to evangelize the gospel but went elsewhere, he later went to the initial place but that was after God dealt with him, he learnt his lessons in the hard way.

The same thing with Paul the apostle known as Saul before his change of name, Not until he had a brutal encounter with God, he has been persecuting the Church. After that experience he surrender everything and served God like no other.

We shouldn't wait till we're being punished or forced before we hand over the wheel to God so he can be the controller of our lives.
