Good day fellow hivians, It's my first time posting in this community I hope I'll have a good start and also be motivated to continue engaging myself.
Talking about homesteading, with my little knowledge, I would say homesteading is the lifestyle of self sufficiency.
My homesteading experience is on subsistence agriculture, I farm basically to feed myself and my family no commercial purpose for now.
I might not have this opportunity to practice farming if not because I was posted to a rural area to work, at first I taught it was a bad thing but now, I don't even want to leave the place because of what I am enjoying through farming.
Presently I have planted maize and cassava, which I will harvest very soon. No wasting of money to buy these things anymore, i can now eat them as I like, am even scared to go to the market this days as the price of food has drastically increased.
Am still working on planting beans, guinea corn and more maize and cassava.
I'm enjoying my stay over here, farming is one of the best thing one could invest in, and am so proud and happy that I did.
The above picture was the level at which my maize and cassava had grown as at June 3rd 2022.
Compared to the below below馃憞馃憞
The present growth stage of my maize and cassava.
Very soon I'll be harvesting my maize.
I love agriculture, agriculture is life.
