Good evening Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, as I continue this trip across country and I'll have this post for day two, then the next one to finish it off. As in day two of this trip and that next post will be the Grand Canyon shot's when we checked in to are Airbnb and then decided to go see if we can catch the sunset. As for this post its to finish off what I did capture that was decent on Route 66, right after Roadkill Cafe and the OK Saloon. I think I might have more shot's though, so don't hold me to it if I have more to post from day two, haha. As for this first shot here, was actually across the street and old gas station but this Seligman Arizona, Route 66 painting was pretty dang cool, so I figured to take a couple shot's. I did take some shot's of some old rust cars and wagons, but honestly I didn't really like them so I wont post them here but it happened, haha. All in all this was a fun trip, been so long since I got to roll out and do something like this. To have a camera with me too, was pretty cool but I sure wish I knew what I know now of manual mode. All good its all part of the learning process, Its better to have shot's and go thru an epic journey, then not to have any at all.
I actually reversed, yesterdays post was Grand Canyon and this one tonight.
As I was finishing up the shot's above all of a sudden we started to hear the train come, so I started running that direction and took a couple shot's as quick as possible. So here are those two shot's below.
As we set out on the road again, Route 66 on are way to the Grand Canyon for our Airbnb check in, I took these next three shot's of the scenery, these shot's were taken thru the car window and while we were in motion, so I tried to clean them up as best as possible.
As we continue down Route 66, I saw these old trains, so of course still driving and thru the window I still had to take some shots of these because who doesn't like trains. Those are the next two shots below.
For the last shot, I just had to throw it in there, the Sasquatch, Yeti, Bigfoot car sticker or whatever you prefer to call him but I thought this was cool, so much noise in them due to shooting thru the window, but I actually really like it. the reflection and color look so cool to me.
