Statement of Interest IT LABS Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNA

I am seeking employment in the computer networking field. I am looking for an opportunity that will offer advancement via training and development and a learning culture. I have restarted my relationship with Free Geek Chicago, an organization that recycles computer technology and provide low- and no-cost computing to economically disadvantaged individuals and not-for-profit and social change organizations. Free Geek Chicago does most of this work with volunteers, who disassemble the donated equipment and test the components, which are either recycled as electronic scrap or reused in refurbished systems. I have not applied to any jobs in the network field yet because I haven’t had enough training. However, I have researched many different positions to ascertain the necessary skills and abilities for an entry-level position an a helpdesk support specialist. A Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) credential from a qualified training program like the one I’m trying to get t IT Labs will be essential to my success.

My primary reason for seeking this training is because I need the credentials from a successful training program to augment my degrees in business administration/management from Chicago State University and Olive Harvey College. I anticipate being a candidate in jobs with titles such as Junior Network and Systems administrator, Network specialist I, and Computer Network Administrator. I am a lifelong learner nd I seek a mechanism to release the knowledge and intelligence that I have been so fortunate to receive. Once I have successfully completed this training, I will be able to utilize these skills alongside my growing programming and internet marketing abilities. I believe that this training would affect my life positively in several ways during the first six months after training. For one, I would have a high level of confidence after successful training in a quality program. I will also have nearly one year of experience to market to potential employers. Finally, the credentials I will have secured will give me an edge over the competition. In three years I envision an a personal and business infrastructure that empowers me to live the ultimate digital lifestyle and leave the life of poverty in which I find myself today. I will have the skills to obtain the right hardware and software along with the right mindset to be able to create efficient and effective network architectures for myself and others who may need my services. I can then improve myself and help others. Five years from now I envision myself with a Master’s Degree in Information Systems. I see myself travelling all over the country and world empowering impoverished communities with technology.

My training application should be approved because I have the qualifications, motivation and desire to be the top student in this program. I look forward to learning from and helping my fellow classmates. I am committed to achieving the highest standards possible so that I may reach my goals, fulfill my dreams and have a live worthy of living.
