It's fascinating to see distributed consensus function as it should.

I wasn't around in the early years and I don't really hold an opinion on the 'ninja mined' stake, I do however understand the threat such a large stake holds over the STEEM blockchain.

I agree with the preventative temporary measures taken by the witnesses, I also can understand fully concerns of limited the abilities of an person to do what they like with the property they own.

The whole point of blockchain is you own your coins fully.

However given the previously stated intent for the Steemit stake, promises and commitments communicated to the STEEM community, All responsibility for informing Justin Sun of these stated commitments falls to Ned.

All the witnesses have already stated this is done with no ill intent but as insurance until justin suns stance has been classified.

I have faith that good things will come from the new partnership and acquisition, but ultimately it is the witnesses and our votes that have control over what changes happen to the blockchain.

2020 is looking to be a very interesting year for STEEM!
