Psalms 7:1~9:20

여호와 내 하나님이여, 내가 주를 믿습니다. 나를 쫓는 모든 사람들에게서 나를 구원해 건져 주소서. 그렇지 않으면 나를 구해줄 이가 아무도 없으니 그들이 사자같이 나를 물어뜯고 갈기갈기 찢어 놓을 것입니다. 여호와 내 하나님이여, 만약 내가 이 일을 했다면 그래서 내 손에 죄악이 있다면 내가 만약 내가 나와 화해한 사람에게 악한 행동으로 갚았거나 내 적에게 아무 이유 없이 빼앗은 적이 있다면 내 적이 나를 쫓아와 붙잡게 하소서. 그가 내 영혼을 짓밟아 나를 땅속에 묻게 하시고 내 영광이 먼지 속에 있게 하소서.(셀라) 여호와여, 진노하며 일어나소서. 내 적들에 맞서 일어나 싸워 주소서. 내 하나님이여, 나를 위해 일어나 심판을 명하소서. 민족들 가운데 모인 무리가 주를 에워싸리니 그들을 위해서 높은 자리로 돌아오소서. 여호와께서 그 민족들을 심판하시니 여호와여, 내 의에 따라, 내 안에 있는 내 성실함에 따라 나를 판단하소서. 악인들의 악을 끊으시고 의인들을 세워 주소서. 이는 의로우신 하나님이 마음과 생각을 살피는 분이시기 때문입니다. 내 방패는 마음이 올바른 사람들을 구원하시는 하나님께 있도다. 하나님은 공정한 재판장이시요, 악인들에게는 날마다 분노하시는 분이십니다. 사람이 뉘우치지 않으면 그 칼을 가실 것이며 그 활시위를 당겨 준비하십니다. 하나님이 죽이는 무기를 준비하시며 불화살을 당길 채비를 하고 계시도다. 보라. 악인이 악을 품고 있으며 해악을 잉태해 거짓을 낳았도다. 그가 땅을 파서 웅덩이를 만들더니 자기가 만든 구덩이에 자기가 빠졌도다. 자기가 꾸민 재난이 자신의 머리로 떨어지고 그 포악함이 그의 정수리에 떨어지리라. 내가 의로우신 여호와를 찬양하고 지극히 높으신 여호와의 이름을 노래하리라.

여호와 우리 주여. 주의 이름이 온 땅에 어찌 그리 장엄한지요! 주께서 그 영광을 하늘 위에 두셨습니다. 어린아이들과 젖먹이들의 입으로 찬양하게 하셨으니 주께서 대적들과 원수들과 보복하는 사람들을 잠잠하게 하시려는 것입니다. 주의 손가락으로 만드신 주의 하늘과 주께서 달아 놓으신 달과 별들을 생각해 봅니다. 사람이 무엇이기에 주께서 이렇게 마음을 쓰시며 인자가 과연 무엇이기에 이토록 돌봐 주십니까? 주께서 사람을 하늘에 있는 존재보다 조금 못하게 만드시고 영광과 존귀함의 관을 씌우셨습니다. 또 주의 손으로 만드신 것을 사람이 다스리게 하시고 모든 것을 사람의 발아래 두셨습니다. 곧 모든 양들, 소들, 들짐승들, 공중의 새들 바다의 묵고기들, 바닷길을 헤엄쳐 다니는 모든 것들을 다스리게 하신 것입니다. 여호와 우리 주여, 주의 이름이 온 땅에 어찌 그리 장엄한지요!

오 여호와여, 내가 온 마음을 다해 주를 찬양하겠습니다. 주께서 행하신 놀라운 일들을 내가 모두 말하겠습니다. 내가 주를 기뻐하고 즐거워하며 가장 높으신 주의 이름을 찬양하겠습니다. 주 앞에서는 내 적들이 뒤돌아서다가 넘어져 멸망할 것입니다. 주께서 내 권리와 내 사정을 변호해 주셨으며 주의 옥좌에 앉으셔서 나를 의롭게 심판하셨습니다. 또 이방 민족들을 꾸짖으시며 악인들을 멸망시키시며 그들의 이름을 영원히 지워 버리셧습니다. 적들이 멸망해 영원히 사라지고 주께서 그들이 살던 성들을 뿌리째 뽑으셔서 이제 아무도 그 성을 기억하지 못합니다. 오직 여호화만이 영원히 다스리십니다. 여호와께서 심판하시기 위해 옥좌를 준비하셨습니다. 주께서는 세상을 의롭게 심판하실 것이며 모든 민족을 다스리실 것입니다. 여호와는 억압받는 사람들의 피난처이시며 환난 때 피할 요새이십니다. 여호와여, 주의 이름을 아는 사람들은 주를 신뢰할 것입니다. 이는 주를 찾는 사람들을 주께서 결코 버리지 않으시기 때문입니다. 시온에 계시는 여호와를 찬양하라. 주께서 하신 일들을 온 세상에 선포하라. 살인자에게 복수하시는 하나님께서 고통당하는 사람을 기억하시며 그들의 울부짖음을 모른척하지 않으시리라. 오 여호아여, 나를 미워하는 사람들이 나를 어떻게 괴롭히는지 보소서. 나를 불쌍히 여기시고 죽음의 문에서 나를 들어 올리소서. 그리하시면 내가 시온 성문들에게 주를 높이 찬양하며 주께서 나를 구원하신 일을 찬양하며 기뻐할 것입니다. 이방 민족들은 자기들이 판 구덩이에 빠졌으며 자기가 쳐놓은 그물에 발이 걸렸구나. 여호와께서 의로운 재판으로 자신을 알리셨으니 악인이 자기 손으로 한 일로 덫에 걸렸도다.(학기욘, 셀라) 악인들은 지옥으로 갈 것입니다. 하나님을 잊은 모든 민족들도 다 그렇게 될 것입니다. 그러나 궁핍한 사람들이 항상 잊혀지지는 않을 것이며 가난한 사람들의 소망이 영원히 없어지지는 않을 것입니다. 여호와여 일어나소서! 사람이 승리하지 못하게 하시고 이방 나라들이 주 앞에서 심판을 받게 하소서. 여호와여 그들이 두려움에 떨게 하시고 자기들이 한낱 사람일 뿐임을 알게 하소서.

1 {Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto the LORD, concerning the words of Cush the Benjamite.} O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me: 2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending [it] in pieces, while [there is] none to deliver. 3 O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands; 4 If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:) 5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take [it]; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah. 6 Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me [to] the judgment [that] thou hast commanded. 7 So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high. 8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity [that is] in me. 9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. 10 My defence [is] of God, which saveth the upright in heart. 11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry [with the wicked] every day. 12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready. 13 He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors. 14 Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood. 15 He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch [which] he made. 16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate. 17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
1 {To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of David.} O LORD our Lord, how excellent [is] thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. 2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. 3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; 4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. 6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all [things] under his feet: 7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; 8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, [and whatsoever] passeth through the paths of the seas. 9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent [is] thy name in all the earth!
1 {To the chief Musician upon Muthlabben, A Psalm of David.} I will praise [thee], O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. 2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. 3 When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence. 4 For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right. 5 Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever. 6 O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them. 7 But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment. 8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness. 9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. 10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. 11 Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings. 12 When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble. 13 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble [which I suffer] of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death: 14 That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation. 15 The heathen are sunk down in the pit [that] they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken. 16 The LORD is known [by] the judgment [which] he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah. 17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that forget God. 18 For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall [not] perish for ever. 19 Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight. 20 Put them in fear, O LORD: [that] the nations may know themselves [to be but] men.
