Overwhelmed with Physical Limitation ๐ค๐ช๐๐ช
Hello everyone here! I tried to have a massage last Saturday because my upper back pain is knocking me down again for days. I couldn't stand it any longer as the pain becomes more and more unbearable each day. So when my nanay texted her therapist I decided to have my back massaged too.
He came with his wife last Saturday. His wife was the one who massaged me because I am not comfortable with any male masseur or therapist. I felt it was the longest 1-hour session ever. For every time her hands touches or massages the part of my aching back I feel so painful I couldn't help but gasp for breath because I felt embarrased if I tell her to slow it down or not too hard on that part. I know I am in great pain but I trust her that she knew what she's doing. And I am praying that after the session, relief will replace the excruciating pain that I'm feeling.
I was so relieved when she finally told me to sit up and she massaged my head and my face. Praise God no more back pain as of that moment. She was finally hands off my back. I made sure to have my hot bath the following morning and I wore my long sleeves when we attended the Sunday Praise and Worship Service. Hotel Ariana in Bauang is such a cold place. By the way it is where we attend our Sunday service.
As of this writing my back still aches but it is already tolerable. I was able to report for work this day Praise God for sustaining me physically. I am grateful to God in spite of the overwhelming physical limitation I have had the past week. I was still able to do my duties and responsibilities at home and at work. Praise God. ๐๐๐ช๐ช๐๐
