Hello friends and craft lovers, today in spite of the adversities that I am going through, I am still standing, because I was a little absent since my grandmother passed away and I had to go to where she lived, it is not easy to lose the ones we love but we must have resignation because God wanted it that way. Things happen for a reason and she is now in a beautiful place where pain does not exist. I said to myself, go ahead Shira, you must continue, there are still people who need you and they don't need you to be down, they need me strong and brave, no matter how painful the situation is, here I am fighting.
Hola amigos y amantes de las manualidades el día de hoy a pesar de las adversidades por las que estoy pasando aquí continúo de pie, pues andaba un poco ausente ya que mi abuelita falleció y tuve que ir a dónde ella vivía, no es fácil perder a los seres que amamos pero hay que tener resignación porque así lo quiso Dios. Las cosas por algo pasan y ella ahora se encuentra en un lugar hermoso dónde el dolor no existe. Me dije yo misma adelante shira debes continuar aún hay personas que te necesitan y no precisamente te necesitan decaída me necesitan fuerte y valiente, por muy dolorosa que es la situación aquí estoy en pie de lucha.
As I was depressed and walking all over the place with no sense, I said I was going to make some watermelon earrings, taking advantage of the fact that I had some material I went to the living room and sat down in an armchair with all the necessary materials to make these cute watermelon fruit earrings. Cómo andaba deprimida y caminando para todos lados sin sentido, dije voy a ponerme a realizar unos pendientes de sandía, aprovechando que tenía material me dirigí a la sala y me senté en un sillón con todos los materiales necesarios para realizar estos lindos pendientes de fruta de sandía. Las frutas de sandía son de vidrios con una decoración encantadora, por eso te invito a disfrutar de la evolución para que puedas apreciar lo tierno que se verán estos pendientes totalmente casuales para cualquier ocasión.
The materials I used were the following:
- Earring hooks
- Weaving thread in green color
- Jewelry stones
- Watermelon fruits
- Round clip.
Los materiales que utilice fueron los siguientes:
- Ganchos para pendientes
- Hilo de tejer en color verde
- Piedras de bisutería
- Las frutas de sandía
- Pinza redonda.
To begin making this craft I grabbed the hook of the earring, opened it and inserted the glass watermelon fruit, then I closed it tightly to prevent the watermelon from slipping out of the gourd.
Para comenzar la realización de esta manualidad agarre el gancho del pendiente abrí e introduje la fruta de sandía de vidrio, luego me dirigí a cerrar bien fuerte para evitar que la sandía se salga del gacho.
In this way the process is repeated again with the other hook and we will obtain the pair of earrings.
De esta manera se vuelve a repetir el proceso con el otro gancho y obtendremos el par de pendientes.
Next, I take the weaving thread, cut a piece and fold it in half, tying a knot at the two ends so as not to let any stone come out of it.
Seguidamente agarro el hilo de tejer, recorto un pedazo y lo doblo por la mitad haciendo en la parte de las dos puntas un nudo para no dejar salir ninguna piedra de allí.
After having the thread ready with the decorative stones, we are going to introduce it through the circle that has the earring hook and we are going to leave it as shown in the image.
Luego de tener el hilo listo con las piedras decorativas lo vamos a introducir por el círculo que tiene el gancho del pendiente y vamos a dejarlo de la forma que se observa en la imagen.
In the next step we repeat the process with the thread, but we are going to change the stones from green to black and red to combine the colors of the fruit, making it tender as you can see.
En el siguiente paso se vuelve a repetir el proceso con el hilo, pero las piedras la vamos a cambiar de verde a negra y roja para combinar los colores de la fruta, quedando así de tierno como podrán observar.
