As we are mid-month, I've decided I'm not going to hunt for more journals around the house. I'm sticking with the journals that were in my studio or on my bookshelf. As you can see from previous posts I certainly have a random collection of journals.
A Gift
Today's journal was a recent gift from my sister who is an avid journaler. It's really quite lovely. And yes, it's been sitting on the shelf since she gave it to me. What will I do with it? I have no idea.
So far being part of National Journal Post Month #NaJoPoMo has been more an exploration of my mindset around journaling than anything else. The "crack open the dusty journal" has been interesting. It's easy to see I've had good intentions about journaling. Why else would I have collected so many? I've also made quite a few half-hearted attempts to journal but nothing has stuck. Why? Again, I have no idea.
The Last One
Here is the last journal on my shelf. You can easily see that this is not only appealing to the eyes, but it has a really nice feel to it. This journal wants to be in your hands being written on. It just has that vibe.
