Hi! 👋👋👋 Today is another entry for the splinterlands Weekly Art Contest and this time, I decided to draw Dark Enchantress. ❤️😊 I draw Dark Enchantress in my anime artstyle and here is the result! ❤️ It's been a long time since I draw something so I decided to join the art contest once again so that I could once again practice my art. 😁 I am hoping that my hand is not too rusty lol 😅 Let us begin! 😊

Dark Enchantress

I want to show tha character in a different artsyle. Now, here are the steps that I followed in making this piece:

Step 1 ✔️

First, did a quick sketch of the piece that I want to make. I always tries to be quick and loose as I draw in this stage. 💛

Step 2 ✔️

Next is I redraw the line art cleanly then added the flat colors of the character. I tried using the same color palette as the original.

Step 3 ✔️

I then added the shadows.

Step 4 ✔️

Next is I added the highlights.

Step 5 ✔️

Finally, I added the background color and some color dodge on the eyes. I use the color pink to make the piece pop out more since it is composed mostly with dark color scheme.
