I have long wanted to learn the airbrush technique but I didn't know how to start. When I see works like these for example:
I am motivated and I want to get something similar by myself someday.
Actually the airbrush technique for me is one of the most complicated to execute, due to the previous preparation of the tools and the paint that will be used.
In order to start painting you need some elements as mentioned before; to start you need an airbrush obviusly, you also need a compressor and of course the paint. I would like to give more details on how to prepare everything to start drawing, but I am not even sure how to do it in the most effective way, I am learning. I do not know either what type of paint to use exactly, but in this case use automotive paint.
For this experiment, I sacrifice a fender from an old motorcycle, and the result seems very simple but believe me it was a great challenge just because it was the first drawing I did with an airbrush.
The airbrush technique can be very versatile like the low pressure spray technique, but the preparation of the material and the tools to paint can take a little more time, even so I really like to have painted with the airbrush, I want to continue using it because I would like to be able to paint cars and motorcycles artistically and be able to show off my works on other canvases. 😉
For now it is all hive friends.
