Hello MCGI family am greatful to God for giving me and other Mcgi members opportunity to be part of today mass indoctrination I thank God for using bro Elisoriano.
LESSON FROM TODAY.
Today's mass indoctrination has made me understand about vows.
Firstly According to Philipians 1:21, and 1st Corinthians 14:27 in Christ there are somethings we should do volunterily. It's not everything you will be compelled or told to do in the church of Christ.
If you vow unto the lord you have responsibility to keep to your promise.Vow is intentional not force.
Secondly bro Elisiano made me understand according to Ecc5:5 it's better not to vow than to vow and not to pay, it's important to vow and pay your vow.Vow is good because it make God see your commitment to him.
In a true church you make vow volunterily. When you vow you will do what you told God.Titheing should be done volunterily not necessarily, giving in church should be volunterily.
I also learnt today that God love a cheerful giver.
It's very important to give to the church because no congregation can grow without offering and tithes. According to 2nd corithians 8:3 individual need to give base on their own given strength not the church determining what you need to give to the church. It very important to give in church because the church need money to operate. Giving is very important to church.Church revenue is not collect so the church owner or founder should spend. It's wrong to say a man steal from God because he or she did not pay tithes. Paying of tithe should be volunterily not necessity or compel Philippines 4:15.
Bro Eli explained that In true church there is no price on what you ought to give according to act 4:36.Thanksgiving is allowed, it's done voluntary. Thanks giving it's a volunteering action. It's similar to tithe. The sacrifice of praise is Thanksgiving Hebrew 13:16 , doing good and giving contribution to church is good.Doing good, giving to the church and thanks giving is a voluntery action.finally Roman 1:21 in everything we need to give thanks to God.
