Hello everyone!

Hope all are safe and well! ☺️❤️🙏

You might notice that I've been away these past days. I wasn’t able to post or continue my travel story back home because I got sick. I really felt bad disappearing without saying anything. I’m sorry dear hivers. I missed sharing with you all.

Anyway, here’s the continuation of my travel journey back home. ❤️

After one hour on the plane from Manila, we landed safe and sound at Tacloban airport.

Seeing the tacloban airport is a sign that I was home again after everything I’ve gone through the past months.

As soon as we stepped out of the plane, I walked straight to the baggage claim area. I was excited and tired at the same time. I'm excited to go home, tired from the long waiting time at NAIA and the flight itself.

I waited for my luggage patiently. There’s something about watching bags go around the carousel, you’re hoping to see yours next but it keeps skipping. 🤣

Finally, my luggage showed up and I grabbed it right away. Another sign that the journey was almost over.

After getting my things, I waited for my sister to fetch me. I was the last one to be picked up because they came late, but honestly I didn’t mind. I was just grateful someone was picking me up at all. While waiting, I decided to take a few photos inside the arrival area. It's a simple snapshots to remember this moment of coming home.

When they finally arrived, I got too excited that I forgot to take photos. 🤭
We also needed to fetch my nieces who are studying in Tacloban because we were going to celebrate my niece’s birthday. I’ll make a separate blog about that special little celebration.

But after all that, the next day I got sick.

My stomach kept aching and I started pooping water only. It was embarrassing and scary at the same time. I didn’t know what caused it, maybe something I ate before my flight or during the travel. I was the only one at home feeling like that, and I had no energy at all.

I honestly got scared that I might get dehydrated, so I immediately asked my brother to buy Pocari Sweat and Gatorade. I only ate porridge for meals. I drank boiled lemon grass. I ate bananas. I didn’t take any medicines. I just used ointment, rubbed my tummy, and put salonpas. I avoided oily food and just stayed inside my room.

For days I just rested, slept, prayed, and waited to get better.

And now, thank God I’m totally okay. 🙏
My stomach is back to normal, and now I didn’t even poop today. 🤭

I’m truly grateful to feel well again.

Have a Blessed Wednesday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖

Thank You Lord for the blessings and love!

Be grateful in every little/simple things and you’ll find happiness you ever wanted! 😀😀😀

Everyday is worth to be grateful of!

Praying for the safety and wellness of all.
