Male, Female, and Juvenile Elfin Skimmer (Nannophya bella), the smallest dragonfly in North America and a species that is very challenging to find not only because of its small size but because of its habitat preference—bogs.
I had the privilege of stumbling upon this thriving population with numerous specimens of both genders as well as the freshly hatched/morphed juveniles.
