- A word only starts when at least 4 players are on the Campfire. Players who already finished a word that day don't count. The word is 4 to 6 letters long (never more letters than players present), and each person can hold one letter.
- If not enough people are around, it tries again every 5 to 10 minutes. There are 4 words a day at random times.
- If a letter sits for 10 minutes without anyone taking it, the word withers and nobody scores.
- Each player can complete one word per day (+5 points).
