How is your country viewed by the world? It certainly has some positive and negative aspects, and Brazil is no different. I think some time ago I could say we were known as the country of football, but we've been in crisis for quite some time now, so perhaps we've lost that title, not forever, but for an indefinite period. So, currently, that aspect is somewhere between being remembered as the best football team and perhaps the hospitality of Brazilians. I always see this a lot, how we are a cheerful people who welcome others peacefully and joyfully.
I think everyone abroad knows this as a positive trait, this welcoming attitude we have, this joy, that even when everything is going wrong and the world is ending, we still have a smile on our faces and, with that, we decide to keep going, facing problems and adversities, doing our best, working hard to provide for our families, love and affection for our wives and children, and always respecting our mothers. Joy and resilience are already part of the Brazilian people; we live like this, overcoming everything that comes our way every day.
Therefore, I can say that we are known for this, for always displaying resilience, overcoming the challenges of a beautiful and incredible country, but one tarnished by corrupt politicians who ignore their people. We are not perfect when it comes to joy; we have problems, people who succumb to the negative side of things. But on the other hand, we do have many joyful people who spread that joy to others, facing problems that many people don't even imagine. Our qualities are not only in football or sports; they are in the people, who smile and face everything possible to seek a better tomorrow.
Now, a negative point is simply the reinforcement of what I already mentioned in the previous paragraph: corruption, disgusting politicians who don't think about the people and only about their own pockets. It's not a new thing that people look at Brazil and only think about this: a country that had everything to be a first-world nation, but unfortunately, because of corrupt politicians who don't do their jobs and are never judged for all the bad things they do. In my view, the world already knows that things are complicated here because of these people who do nothing but increase their own profits.
If I may comment on another point, it would be the high tax burden we have in the country. It's sinister how many taxes there are and the government keeps saying there's never enough money. Of course, this happens because of corruption; after all, if the money were used correctly, it shouldn't be necessary to tax everything. So, they always have an excuse to charge more, claiming that the accounts don't balance, but everyone knows why this happens: because our political class has never really governed for the people, only to fill their own pockets.
For this reason, I think that's the negative view of the country. People there must know or imagine that our country has these problems; perhaps they even imagine that we are the suffering people who smile in the face of so many problems. We don't have tornadoes or earthquakes here, but we have something worse: corruption, and the people in power, who could decide what's best for the country, never change their way of thinking, which is to line their own pockets. I believe our situation is similar to that of many other countries; perhaps someone can relate, so leave your comment about the positive or negative aspects of your country.
Como o seu pa铆s 茅 visto pelo mundo afora? Com certeza tem alguns pontos positivos e negativos e com o Brasil n茫o 茅 diferente. Acho que h谩 algum tempo poderia dizer que somos conhecidos como o pa铆s do futebol, mas estamos em crise h谩 um bom tempo j谩, ent茫o talvez tenhamos perdido esse t铆tulo, n茫o para sempre, mas por um tempo indeterminado, ent茫o, esse ponto na atualidade fica entre ser lembrado como o melhor time de futebol e talvez a hospitalidade do brasileiro. Sempre vejo muito isso, como somos um povo alegre que acolhe outras pessoas de forma pac铆fica e alegre.
Acho que todo mundo l谩 fora conhece por ponto positivo isso, esse acolhimento que temos, essa alegria, que mesmo que tudo esteja dando errado e o mundo acabando, ainda temos o sorriso no rosto e, com isso, decidimos continuar em frente, enfrentando problemas e adversidades, fazendo o nosso melhor, trabalhando duro para dar o sustento para nossas fam铆lias, amor e carinho para nossas esposas e filhos e sempre respeitando as nossas m茫es. A alegria e a supera莽茫o j谩 fazem parte do povo brasileiro, vivemos assim, cada dia mais superando tudo o que aparece em nossa frente.
Por isso, posso dizer que somos conhecidos por isso, por sempre ostentar supera莽茫o, vencer os desafios de um pa铆s lindo e incr铆vel, mas manchado por pol铆ticos corruptos que ignoram o seu povo. N茫o somos perfeitos em quest茫o de alegria, temos problemas, pessoas que se entregam para o lado ruim das coisas, mas do outro temos sim muitas pessoas alegres, que contagiam com essa alegria as outras, enfrentando problemas que muitas vezes ningu茅m nem ao menos imagina. Nossas qualidades n茫o est茫o somente no futebol ou nos esportes, est茫o no povo, que sorri e enfrenta tudo o que 茅 poss铆vel para buscar um amanh茫 melhor.
Agora, um ponto negativo 茅 somente o refor莽o do que j谩 comentei no par谩grafo anterior: corrup莽茫o, pol铆ticos nojentos que n茫o pensam no povo e somente no seu pr贸prio bolso. N茫o 茅 de hoje que as pessoas olham para o Brasil e pensam somente nisso, um pa铆s que tinha tudo para ser de primeiro mundo, mas que infelizmente, por conta de pol铆ticos malditos que n茫o fazem o seu trabalho e muito menos s茫o julgados por tudo de ruim que fazem. Na minha vis茫o, o mundo j谩 sabe que aqui 茅 complicado, por conta desse pessoal que n茫o faz nada al茅m de aumentar seus pr贸prios ganhos.
Se puder comentar sobre outro ponto, seria a alta carga tribut谩ria que temos no pa铆s. 脡 sinistro como tem tanto imposto e o governo continua falando que nunca tem dinheiro. Claro, isso ocorre por conta da corrup莽茫o, afinal, se o dinheiro fosse utilizado corretamente, n茫o deveria ser preciso cobrar imposto em tudo. Ent茫o, eles sempre t锚m uma desculpa para cobrar mais, alegando que as contas n茫o fecham, mas todos sabem por que isso ocorre, porque a nossa classe pol铆tica nunca governou mesmo para o povo, somente para encher seus pr贸prios bolsos.
Por esse motivo, acho que a vis茫o negativa do pa铆s 茅 essa. As pessoas l谩 devem saber ou imaginar que o nosso pa铆s tem esses problemas, talvez at茅 imaginem que somos o povo sofrido que sorri perante tantos problemas. N茫o temos tornados ou terremotos por aqui, mas temos algo pior, sendo a corrup莽茫o e o pessoal que est谩 no poder, que pode decidir pelo bem do pa铆s, nunca mudam a sua forma de pensar, que 茅 encher os pr贸prios bolsos. Acredito que a nossa situa莽茫o seja semelhante 脿 de muitos outros pa铆ses, talvez algu茅m se identifique, ent茫o deixe seu coment谩rio sobre como 茅 o ponto positivo ou negativo do seu pa铆s.
