I got some inspiration from dcrops and a game called "Sprout" from the Solona network, and with that idea in mind, I created the game—and I'm totally surprised that it's attracted so many people.

For the mobile version, I set it to show only one item at a time so the list scrolls down; I think that was the best approach.
