It is interesting to go through one's old works to see how one has evolved or changed since then. Today I was going through some old photos I took in 2009, and decided to re-process a certain HDR image. This was shot in Shanghai at the Shanghai Yuyuan Garden. Originally the edit used 6 exposures, in the new version I used only 4 out of the 6. The photos were shot at 10mm at f/8.

It's still not up to my current standards, but I think it is a lot better than the old version. The old version exhibits a lot of ugly halos around high contrast areas, and was too dark for my taste. I also made verticals straight and cropped the image. Overall, I think an improvement over the old.
