If you search the web, there are lots and lots of home-made or hand-made toys ideas you can make at home. They are also a perfect gift for occasions.
Like this Activity board. I made it in less than half an hour. It's great for sensory and motor skills. Michael loves to feel texture and explore.
I recycled the box and glued the materials I can find in our house. I got sponge and bag (i never used), yarn from my DIY, household items, pulses and stickers.
It encourages creativity and learning. It provides hours of play. You can also make it with them, Messy but fun!
Truly heart-warming when you see them playing with your own made toy. Toys doesn't just come in the boxes, It's made out of boxes too.
