My visit to Heiligenberg, Germany馃尣 / Mi visita a Heiligenberg, Alemania馃尣
To start talking about Heiligenberg, I think it is pertinent to say where is it? It is a mountain located in Heidelberg, Germany, to reach it you must first cross the Neckar river and then climb this mountain, there are two ways to access, by car or walking up.
The second option, as much as I would have liked to have done it, was not the one my family took to get me there haha, in fact, I understand it is a climb of about an hour or more, so we saved a few minutes to get there.
The mountain is quite an attraction, it is full of trees and it is a beautiful forest, when you arrive there is a parking lot and the tour to the mountain begins.
The first thing I saw was a tower, which caught my attention, it was a watchtower from which you can see the castle of Heidelberg. I must say that going up that little tower was a bit of a challenge for me because it was completely dark, I could not see anything at all, and suddenly while I was going up there was a dog! it was from other tourists who were coming down, but imagine just being climbing a super old and super dark tower and you find a giant dog, quite a terror, however, I had a bag of chips and gave him a few, the dog was super affectionate with me (I feel that I was saved from dying thanks to the chips).
Once at the top the view was beautiful, however I was super anxious and super excited because this place meant a lot to me at that time, when I got down from the tower I went to another ruin, it was like a little house, in which there was a giant hole, I guess it was like a well in which they were supposed to collect water but it was super super scary and giant.
The adventure seemed like quite a horror adventure, and more so considering that the place is full of stories in which Celtic rites are celebrated there and so on.
There is a part of the mountain that is like a super amphitheater, it is immense and I have no words to describe it so I will leave a picture for you to understand me better:
After being there and feeling super powerful and happy because that is what this place transmits to you, I decided to take a walk through the forest alone (I separated a little from the group) and enjoyed the beautiful place, the walk was quite nice, I ended up crying from the emotion and I could not take more pictures, but I recorded a small video, which I will put here in gif format.
