Having witnessed the same as you have over the last few years, I think we can say it is easy to get people to do what you want just by saying on TV it is good for them, or "for the greater good"....
The new greater good is park your car on a Sunday, for the climate.
What is Mass Formation Psychosis?
"Psychosis is when people lose some contact with reality. Mass formation psychosis is when a large part of a society focuses its attention to a leader(s) or a series of events and their attention focuses on one small point or issue. Followers can be hypnotized and be led anywhere, regardless of data proving otherwise. A key aspect of the phenomena is that the people they identify as the leaders – the one’s that can solve the problem or issue alone – they will follow that leader(s) regardless of any new information or data. Furthermore, anybody who questions the leader’s narrative are attacked and disregarded."
The UK seems to be a test bed or testing ground for what people will accept. The government there spends millions on adverts to get people to comply. They use bus stops to advertise, billboards, TV and newspapers, all with the same messages to comply, obey, matters not if it is your own interest, or for your own good, simply obey and comply.

There is a new gang of lunatics in the UK, "stop oil" they call themselves, they zip tie/cable tie their heads to goalposts at soccer games, football games in the UK.
They have been conned into thinking we are all going to die by 2050.
They also have climate change warriors in the name of extinction rebellion.

If you say the same message over and over again, someone will believe it.
Most of these protestors are students, they have been brainwashed at college to think it is the end of the world, it matters not what the reality is, they are trapped in a loop inside their own head, because the message has been delivered every day in so called higher education, that we are all doomed.
The climate change, global warming con-trol method is though in fact nothing new.

I can find hundreds of articles from the early 1900's regarding the notion of global warming, facts do not back it up, the theory, but never let facts get in the way of a good story, hey.
In the 70's we were warned about a mini ice age for 2030, but that has been quietly forgotten, inconvenient fact.
If we take a look at what people are willing to accept, it is quite shocking really.
Even the fraud professor at Imperial college London was shocked how easy it was to get people to comply with lock downs. Neil lock-down Ferguson.

If you say it enough times people will believe it, it matters not what the reality is, you can look outside and see there are no dead bodies in the street, but if the TV says there is, in minds of those that consume the news with a passion, there is. I call it "news fever" Now.
You can take the Ukraine as a prime example of news fever, where were all these wannabe virtue signalers for Yemen? Where were they for Iraq? But oh, the Ukraine, because? The TV set says so.
‘Repeat a Lie Often Enough and It Becomes the Truth’ And even the one that makes up the lie will believe it, because they repeated it so many times. (Think politicians.)
So the next big lie will be talking you into using less resources, less fuel, less, less, less, for the greater good and all.
I have already noticed the WEF policy, Bill Gates idea regards plant based toxic burgers, toxic food on the shelves of my local supermarket, no, not eating it, if I want a hamburger, I want ham in it, not grass.
