You know the saying: "I'd rather be dead than confess?"

Sometimes, we are scared to tell someone how we feel. I remember I have this crush in high school, I wasn't able to tell anyone about it. I kept it hidden until it just went away. My classmate and I went our separate ways. Until now he never knew and I'd still want to keep it that way. ;)

You don't see me,
But I constantly gaze at you,
Catching your breath
Your eyes probing and looking.

You don't see me,
But I look through you,
I see you struggle to chase your dreams
and you unknowingly mask your fears.

You don't see me,
I pretend I don't care;
I pass you by with indifference
But my feelings burn inside .

You don't see me,
Because I don't want to be seen,
Fearful that you will know what's within,
The longings I kept hidden.

You don't see me,
And I'd want it that way,
To see you from afar,
Is enough for me to stay.
