He had no dreams, goals, or hopes greater than finding, day by day, a bit of money—even if little—to sustain himself minimally.
That day, he approached Peter and John and also asked them for some coins, even begging them to give him something. However, he did not see coming the greater miracle that was about to happen to him. Acts 3:6: "Then Peter said, 'Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.'" He took him by the hand, lifted him up, and immediately the man's ankles and feet became strong as never before, and he was able to walk. He went from being laid aside at the temple gate to entering with Peter and John, leaping and praising God.

The same Christ who had performed healings, miracles, and wonders while walking with His disciples, and whom they had crucified, rose again and ascended to heaven to the right hand of the Father, and gave authority to His disciples to continue doing all these things in His name.
Peter and John were attempted to be silenced and threatened after their words, so that they would stop mentioning Jesus and saying that the miracles they saw being done were in His name. But they did not give up; they were not afraid to speak of Jesus to others, to bring the good news of salvation—the message of love concerning the greatest of men, Jesus Christ, who, being God, became man and, without sin, was scourged, rejected, and crucified, bearing the sin of all men, and died. But He even conquered death, rising on the third day and being exalted in glory. He brought redemption to all who believe in Him, so that they may receive salvation and be set free in His name from everything that binds them to the slavery of sin and the world. Acts 4:29-30: "Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus."

Ese día se les acercó a Pedro y Juan, también les pidió unas monedas, incluso rogó que le diesen algo, sin embargo, no veía venir un milagro mayor que estaba por ocurrirle. Hch 3:6: "Mas Pedro dijo: No tengo plata ni oro, pero lo que tengo te doy; en el nombre de Jesucristo de Nazaret, levántate y anda." Allí le tomó por la mano, le levantó y los tobillos y pies de aquel hombre se afirmaron como nunca antes lo habían hecho y pudo caminar, entonces pasó de estar tirado a un lado de la puerta del templo, a entrar con Juan y Pedro saltando y alabando a Dios.

Allí Pedro le decía a estas personas, que aunque habían entregado, negado y matado al Autor de la vida, Dios le resucitó y ahora ellos que habían sido sus discípulos eran testigos de eso, y por la fe en el nombre de Jesús aquel hombre cojo había recibido sanidad total.
El mismo Cristo que había hecho sanidades, milagros y prodigios mientras caminaba con sus discípulos, y al que habían crucificado, resucitó y ascendió al cielo a la diestra del Padre, y dió potestad a sus discípulos para que en su nombre siguieran haciendo todas estas cosas.
A Pedro y Juan les intentaron silenciar y amenazar luego de sus palabras para que dejaran de mencionar a Jesús y de decir que los milagros que se veían hacer eran en su nombre, pero ellos no desistieron, no temieron hablar de Jesús a otros, de llevar las nuevas de salvación, el mensaje de amor que trata sobre el más grande de los hombres, Jesucristo, que siendo Dios se hizo hombre y sin tener pecados fue azotado, rechazado y crucificado llevando el pecado de todos los hombres y murió, pero venció aún a la muerte resucitando al tercer día y siendo levantado en Gloria, trajo redención a todos aquellos que en Él creen para que reciban salvación, y para que sean libertados en su nombre de todo aquello que les ata a la esclavitud del pecado y el mundo. Hch 4:29-30: "Y ahora, Señor, mira sus amenazas, y concede a tus siervos que con todo denuedo hablen tu palabra, mientras extiendes tu mano para que se hagan sanidades y señales y prodigios mediante el nombre de tu santo Hijo Jesús."
