¡Hola, familia Hive!

Hello, Hive family! This is your friend shell975@shell975, sharing once again in this beautiful Shadow Hunters community and bringing you what I was able to capture.

During a visit to the zoo, among the photos we took, are these slender and beautiful flamingos.

It was a whole group walking around the area, and we took the opportunity to take photos of them. What amazed me the most was noticing their shadows; in the first image, you can see the intertwined shadow of two of them, which was really beautiful. I also love the shadows they cast together.

Did you know that flamingos are not born pink? The truth is they are born a grayish tone; the pink color they later acquire is a mystery solved by their diet—they get it from the crustaceans and algae they eat.

You've surely seen them sleeping on one leg sometimes; they do this to save energy, and it's not hard for them to keep their balance that way, as studies on their anatomy detail that they manage to do it with minimal effort.

And that's all for today, friends! If you want to join the shadow hunt, you can do so in this Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest- 449. I thank melinda010100@melinda010100 for this space and all the sponsors who collaborate and support the community. Have a lovely day, everyone.
