Maria has been working for the company "pisos azulejos y mas" for 10 years, she is in charge of the sales area, she works from Monday to Sunday in rotating schedules, with one day of rest a week, Maria has dreamed with a land where she wants to build her home in her own way, but there is a detail...
Maria must pay debts she has acquired to be able to make paydays, she must pay for the apartment where she lives, she must save her per diem and her money for food, among other expenses... So Maria feels that her income does not grow, she tries to save but always something makes her spend a little more and she only has a fixed salary.
I think there is something about money that she doesn't know yet...
One of the causes of her financial problem is that Maria doesn't sell anything other than her time and her bosses' items.
Conventional jobs simply consist of selling your time under a contract, where you agree to sell 40 hours a week for a fixed amount. No more and no less and in this way it is almost impossible to achieve that financial freedom that is so much talked about.
It is a round business for the rich, since they generate more every time they use our time to the maximum, while the rest, including the middle class, becomes more limited in all aspects, both financially and in the quality of life either individually or in family, because your time is assumed by your work and the little time you have free is to perform the various errands that you did not achieve during the working days due to scheduling issues.
As you know, the time in a company is limited, you cannot work more than 8, 10 or 12 hours a day, so you do not even have the space to say that you will have more income if you work more, because the laws would not let you do more than what they regulate. On all sides you are limited.
For this reason people who have companies or are rich, do not sell their time, but create systems or businesses, which generate income for them.
Many times we have all the excuses to get to that point, that if we do not have money to start something, that we do not have the knowledge, that we lack tools, among other excuses, but... We do not see the capacity that we develop for others as something that we can use for our own benefit.
Maria became in charge of the sales department, because of her astuteness at the moment of selling a product... If Maria would start selling her own products, she would generate an extra income and the moment would come when she would leave the company to start her own business...
Maria is good at sales, her bosses know that and she should use that to her advantage.
A conventional job has some advantages, that's true in some aspects. But there are 2 major drawbacks:
-It severely limits freedom
-It is a limit to economic prosperity
Those who play it safe often lack enthusiasm and a sense of purpose.
You can be very good at what you do, but be lousy at the economy, because selling your time limits you.
On the other hand, an entrepreneur who is good at what he does, we will not see him as just about money, and what is the reason? His income is not limited to a monthly base salary, but to generate something different on a daily basis.
Hunt, an American millionaire once said.
"The secret of success lies in knowing what you want and being willing to pay the price to get it".
Money, like everything else, has a price that not everyone wants to pay, they are terrified of starting and failing, they are afraid of not making it, but... If you have given everything for a company and it works out well for you, why couldn't you do it for yourself? You have received all the merits, employee of the month, employee of the week, selection of the year, you got a promotion and even a little raise in salary. So... Why not give it a try for yourself?
Basically the price of money is paid in the following way:
Courage
Creativity
Patience
Imagination
Passion
Discipline
Effort
Persistence
Willingness to serve
Confidence and this must be a top priority, trust in your abilities and in your skills, do not stay in the first attempt, but learn from the first mistakes.
Not everyone is willing to develop this, but we must think well and make a balance... If you continue in your conventional job or if you start building your own business.
We have a false perception that economic problems can only be solved with money... But we do not focus on the fact that we can solve them with creativity, doing something that generates and we can get that money without despair or debt.
Never put limits on yourself
Never put your head down
Never say you can't
Never stop believing in yourself.
Maria has a knack for sales, if in one of her payments, she takes the risk to start selling some product, she will start generating extra income, the moment will come when she will sell so much, that she will leave her conventional job and start her own business. Because Maria is good at sales.... And you? What skill do you have?
It's time to take action and if we fall down, get up and move forward learning from the mistakes we find on the road to freedom.
