We all love a Graphics Interchange Format....Oops sorry, a GIF.
These GIFs are pretty easy to create and I’ll show you how to do that in this post.
The site that I use most is www.giphy.com which has a crazy amount of material for you to check out and use.
It’s always fun to create your own though and I’ll give you a very quick rundown on how to do just that.
First of all, you should create an account so that you can always access your created GIFs. You can do that by clicking on the ‘Create’ button at the top right.
Then copy and paste a video from YouTube or wherever.
Best thing to do to keep yourself in the right, is to check and make sure that the content you are using is reusable. You can check this by going to filters on YouTube and clicking the ‘Creative Commons’ and then you will see in the information under ‘License’ that it is of course noted as ‘reuse allowed’.
Alright so you got the video that you want, so just copy and paste it over here.
Now scroll down and see the different options.
- 1 Which stage of the video do you want it to start
- 2 The duration
- 3 Adding a caption like I did with the video now showing ‘JUST POWERED UP BRO!’
- 4 Style is the font that you want the wording in
- 5 And finally colour
Then if you are happy with that, just click ‘Create GIF’.
Next screen shows your GIF in its completed state, and if you wanted to copy it over onto Steemit, then just click on the ‘Copy link’.
Then copy this section and paste it onto Steemit.
