Hi everyone,

I'm just new to exploring this platform. Looking to connect with people of similar interests to find some inspiration, push myself to create more, or simply enjoy others' works.

I play mostly with paints, although my dream is to get my hands in everything (sculpture, pottery, graffiti, graphics, whatever I see).

Most of the time I work with acrylics. Life/work/messes has meant that acrylics are most accessible and easiest to manage. I love love love oils but simply struggle to keep up with available time and set-up. With acrylics I can just pop up a canvas, set up, paint and clean all in one night.

Here's an example of a one-nighter.

I wanted to do matching canvases that would go as a set. I love portraits. I love romantic pieces. I was a little lost as to why this chick ended up looking like Emily Blunt but since I kinda like her, I figured I'd let it go and just be cool with it. Was it the eyes?

Picture quality is so-so. Never really worked on proper lighting for my studio...yet. Add that to the long list of dreams I have around art.
