I've just done some research on EOS, the ideas behind it are great but I'm quite freaked after realizing that it's just a banker coin. They basically made a fiat coin and are asking people for their real crypto in exchange for it. This all with the promise to send crypto mainstream by offering faster transactions. Okay, it sounds a bit reasonable.
Just weird
But the most weird thing I found while reading their purchase agreement was that no US. citizen can take part in any of it. This is obviously because US. citizens have the biggest power to sue companies in the world, people from smaller countries have no chance. This along with other vile things written in the agreement pretty much guarantees this thing being a scam. It might function for a while, create a sort of a bubble to get more people into it and then run with all the money and leave people with worthless EOS.
What?
I've left a piece of the agreement here, read especially in the middle where it states that the EOS tokens you buy are not actually EOS tokens.
It smells extremely fishy to me, give me your thoughts in the comments.
