Opened in 1805, this was one of the first incredible civil engineering feats that allowed to connect the canals that run across the UK.
The bridge is 307 meters long, 3.7 meters wide and 1.60 meters deep. Its made from stone and steel and is about 38 meters above the river where it sits.
The UK has an impressive 4,700 miles of canals and waterways running through it, about half of them fully connected with one another.
Pedestrians can take a stroll on the aquaduct and walk along the canals that have been used to trasport goods for centuries.
