I was busy over the weekend. I usually get my weekend engagement topic contest hosted by Galen done but I didn't make it this weekend. I'm still going to write it because one of the topics was fun. I will tell two truths and one lie and you'll have to guess which one is the truth!
1. I went to the mall (Sunway Pyramid) on Saturday to buy pickleball shoes. I saw someone roll their ankle on Friday and it kind of scared me so I went to buy one so I could reduce my risk of injury. I bought these shoes from Sketchers for RM199.50. I got to play with these shoes on Sunday and I felt a huge difference. The shoes had a lot of grip and I felt a lot more stable when playing compared to my running shoes. Something I'd like to add to that is that I played pickleball everyday last week!
2. I love eating meat. I love my pork, beef, lamb, duck, chicken etc. My favorite type of meat is beef. I love steak and I love having it at that medium rare. The best type of steak I've had is Wagyu; it's so soft and tender that it's effortless to eat, basically melts in the mouth.
3. I was born in Malaysia in the month of September. I moved to California when I was around 5 years old. I grew up getting bullied a lot during my school years up to high school. When I was young, I was quite sporty with my two main sports being tennis and soccer (football for non-Americans); I actually played in tournaments for both of these sports. I came back to Malaysia in 2017 and have been living here ever since. I didn't play any sports or exercise much for 7 years and started playing pickleball around 2024 of November.
