Introduction

GU please. It's time to improve some things that honestly I feel shouldn't take too much work. I want to propose some ideas for improvements in the star store and the leveling system.

So our star store is out of stock. In my opinion, I don't see the purpose of just only having the 3 cards being on sale. What kind of store has 3 items. This never made sense to me. You can still see I have a lot of star currency in my account below. I have over 400k.

I want to propose a simple fix to this problem. I'm sure almost everyone would love this idea. I just hope we can push it out. A bit off topic, I wish GU had a proposal system by the players and the team could look at them and pass through provided it had enough players that voted yes for it.

Anyways, I propose the team to make this star store offer all the welcome & core cards (at least common and rare). I feel this is long overdue or at least some sort of star store revamp since it hasn't been changed at all from the two years I played this game if I recall properly. I don't see why we can't do this. They can still keep the 3 cards that are for sale at the current prices now. The rest of the cards on the store would be a 50-100% increase from those cards on sale. The star price of these cards of course can be even more than 100%; I only gave an example of how much I think a reasonable increase would be from the sales.

Takes some dev resources away from other projects like Mobile Development
Maybe we will have some crazy forging of diamond welcome & core cards which could have an economic impact on the daily play to earn (especially since we have free forging now for a few more weeks so probably better after this is over)

Aside from this since it's still related to the stars, I hope they will add more use cases for these stars. Currently, it doesn't seem like there is much purpose for earning these stars. Maybe they can let us use them to purchase special borders, emotes, icons, titles or even alternative art skins for core/welcome cards. Let's be real there's endless possibilities and none of these need to be NFTS. They can be account bound but at least it would make the game have more things to collect and goals.

Right now it's all about just playing weekend ranked doing daily play to earn and it just repeats. To be honest, it's getting kind of grindy and when you're playing against some unbalanced cards, the game is not fun to play but that's a different issue all together. The only thing that's still fun is trying new decks and trying to play meme decks.

Level System

I don't think the level system has been changed either in the last two years I've played this game. It's not really rewarding better the higher you increase your level. At this point of time, the rewards repeat every 50 levels. There's no sense of progression through levels which in my opinion isn't good for the game. I don't think someone level 500 should be getting the same as somebody that is level 50. There should be some sort of difference.

To solve this issue, I propose adding more non nft rewards at higher levels. This could be alternative skins, icons, frames, cardbacks, trinkets, etc. These don't have to be tradable and could be account bound.

Aside from this, I think an achievement system would be great to implement as well. For example, we can have missions that are like win 100 games with Deception god, 500 games and so on. We can get a badge on this for our account or something and there could be a leaderboard for all this. Anyways these are just some ideas that successful games have implemented so I don't see why GU can't as well.

I'm going to stop here. Although these are some changes I would like to see, I would love for GU mobile to be the priority and pushed out as soon as possible. Feel free to leave down in the comments below what you think of my ideas! Will we able get GU to push some of these ideas out. We are the community so we need to be vocal if we want to see on any changes regarding what I've said or on anything else related to the game.
