Soul bound reward cards have been released and the soul bound summoners have an ability called conscript. Conscript allows you to use an additional gladiator card in battle. This means you can use two gladiator cards in brawls now! I was fortunate enough to pull enough of the earth element soul bound reward summoner to level up to silver league for my gold foil account shawn22. I have shared two battles below and some thoughts on this new ability as well.
I just played two battles because I pulled the new soul bound reward summoner and I wanted to try it out. You can see both battles on the battle link which is posted below the images. I didn't really plan out or think too much when I did these battles. If you saw, I used the same exact team and won both games effortlessly.
I think the new soul bound rewards are great; they will really change the meta of the game. It will be interesting what the best lineups will be with the new cards and rulesets. Looking at conscript though, I think this was a bit over the top to bring gladiator cards into ranked gameplay. Some gladiator cards are broken and I feel it could possibly be a mistake bringing it into ranked play even though their buff can be removed by dispel. I just feel the stats and abilities on some gladius cards are just too strong. One example is Quora and you can just see how I dominated two games with it in the above battles. It's too early to tell, only over time once there's more battle data we can see whether the conscript ability is too "OP". What do you think? Leave down in the comments below!
I'm just confused about one thing with the new soul bound reward cards. They were meant to stop bot farms but I'm thinking until sps staking comes, once the bot farms level up enough of these soul bound reward cards, they will be able to play for free. They won't need to rent because they can just play with soul bound cards. I wonder what the team will do to stop this possible exploit.
