At some point in life, I would eventually die. If I had three choices of how I die between getting eaten by sharks, falling out of a plane without a parachute or trampled by a heard of elephants, I would choose to fall out of a plane without a parachute. In this post, I will analyze each death and my reason for choosing falling out of a plane.
Getting eaten by sharks would be a painful and slow death. Imagine just being slowly eaten and ripped apart. I don't know about you but I don't fancy that. Following that, I also do have a negative feeling towards sharks even though I know not all are aggressive but there are really gentle sharks out there as long as you don't provoke them. I feel that they are scary and maybe this is my perception from hearing stories and seeing movies like the Jaws series. In addition to that, I'm not a big of water. I know how to swim but I don't like to; I wouldn't want to be in an ocean or a tank of water with sharks. Out of the three choices this would most likely rank as my last choice for the way I want to die.
So why did I choose falling out of an airplane without a parachute as my number one choice. I feel this is the best way to die out of the three because once you hit that ground you just die instantly and you won't feel that much pain. Also before I die, I would have an amazing view from the sky; I could feel that I'm on top of the world. In addition to that, I can have time for life to flash before my eyes and remember all the good and bad times. I also wonder if this is real when our life flashes before us at the moments near our own death.
Being trampled by a herd of elephants would be my second choice after the parachute. It's actually a slow painful death like the sharks however I prefer this over being in the water. On top of that, I don't find elephants that scary so I would much prefer this kind of death over the sharks.
In conclusion, if I'm going to die I want a fast death that involves experiencing pain for the shortest amount of time. Out of the three ways to die, falling out of the plane without a parachute best fits this criteria. Thank you so much for reading!
