Hi Steem friends,
Today I'm sharing a photo that I took of some moss that is growing on a tree on my university campus. Given that spring is here and all of the snow has finally melted (at least all of the snow that is visible - I'm sure that there is still some buried deep within some of the forests that don't get much daylight), we are finally seeing some signs of life from plants. These colonies of bright green moss are clear evidence of this!
Here in Atlantic Canada, we've been experiencing approximately 5 days straight now with rain, rain, and more rain. Sure, we've had the occasional break in the rain, but we haven't seen the sun during that entire time, and at this point I'm not sure if it's going to come back! I guess mother nature really is taking the saying "spring showers" very literally this year, but with any luck, all of that rain will bring with it "May flowers"!
For now, the moss will continue to enjoy all of this rain and moisture that has been allowing them to thrive so far this spring!
