Color Challenge - Wednesday Yellow - Easter Egg

For my entry into today's colorchallenge, I'm sharing a photo that I took this evening of an Easter decoration in my apartment. My girlfriend recently did another small round of Easter shopping, since she has been finding more and more great bargains. This time she purchased some egg-shaped decorations that can easily be hung on cupboards or off of lamps or ceiling lights. They actually remind me a bit of Christmas decorations in terms of their design and composition with an attached string at the top. That's pretty much where the Christmas decoration similarities end though, as these Easter decorations are bright yellow and feature some hand-painted artwork on them. This particular egg shows a small depiction of a little chick holding onto a pink painted Easter egg.

Although this decoration certainly isn't anything fancy, it adds a nice touch to one of the places in the apartment that had been lacking any Easter decorations before. Just over a week to go now until Easter is here!
