INTRODUCTION
My name is Shaurya Pratap Singh, the team lead of Roosters and I along with my teammates are working on a website known as Prenatal Nurture in the field of healthcare which provide its various services during 9 months period of pregnancy.
This is team Roosters consisting of 5 spectacular developers- Vani Gupta, Sanvi Jindal, Ojasvi Bhatnagar, Piyush Verma and Me. We all are undergrads and currently pursuing Bachelors in Technology from Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Professional Studies (Affiliated to GGSSIPU) .
Aim and Approach Details
Pregnancy is a transformative and challenging journey for women, encompassing physical, emotional, and psychological changes. However, the accessibility to reliable resources and tools to track prenatal health and wellness can vary widely.
Many expecting mothers struggle to find comprehensive support tailored to their unique needs, leading to potential gaps in their prenatal care regimen. So, our aim is "To develop a website in the field of healthcare addressing the issues and requirements during the 9 months period of pregnancy."
The idea is to create a comprehensive web application that caters to the prenatal health and wellness needs of pregnant women. The Main Features of the website will be:
1) Personalized Exercise Routines: Tailored workouts based on trimester and fitness level, with video demonstrations and progress tracking.
2) Appointment Reminders: Automated reminders synced with personal calendars, including integration of doctor’s instructions for upcoming visits.
3) Nutritional Guidance: Personalized meal plans and healthy recipes, along with a nutrient tracker to monitor essential nutrients.
4) Nearby Gynecologist Locator: GPS-based service to find and review nearby gynecologists, with quick access to emergency contacts and nearest hospitals.
5) Do’s and Don’ts: Detailed lists covering diet, exercise, medication, and lifestyle, supported by expert articles and an interactive Q&A section.
6) Mental Health Support: Resources and online counseling for mental health, with community support groups and forums for sharing experiences.
7) Educational Content and Birth Plan Assistance: Weekly updates on fetal development and upcoming milestones, with templates and guides for creating a personalized birth plan, plus workshops, webinars, and a library of prenatal care resources.
