KILLED MORE DREAMS THAN EXCUSES

Americans are about 4.4 percent of the world population but own 42 percent of its guns. The argument that the total number of guns in the US has nothing to do with our level of gun violence makes no sense. Nor does the argument that more armament is the solution.

Those in power today grew up in a different time and are disconnected to realities of today's violence and murder. It will be up to the new generations of young voters and future politicians to solve this problem.

I wonder when the right to life groups would consider the increasingly frequent mass slaughters in our schools a problem. What does the movement even stand for if they don't?
