The Dew Tour is a premier skateboarding event touring the US to hold Pro Skateboarding competitions. One of these stops is Ocean City Maryland. The competition is held on the beach and in the sand directly in the middle of everyone's fun and sun.
One of the city's slogans is it's always a good time for a good time. That being said Ocean City is a seasonal community of 7,102 that swells to 325,000 during summer weekends. Events like the Dew Tour help this community with that essential surge.

Two of the primary event disciplines on display here are Bowl and Vert. Based on the nature of the event all the infrastructure and equipment used needs to be portable and have the ability to be set up in a matter of days or hours.

What your looking at is the worlds first portable concrete bowl. And it's only about 400,000 pounds if you consider that portable. Cast and formed into a modular steel skeleton this beast moves in, sets up and goes away in about a week.
