I have binge watching "The Fact's Of Life" way too much lately, so I think it is about time to get back to creating my own life.
So let's go walk downtown, I don't want to drive, because the parking there will be way to packed because of the Celebration of Lights does a kick off.
I arrived just on time there, the walk took around twenty minutes, they had a Celebration of Lights Band, it was rock and roll type of band, not quite like the punk rock The Vandals with their christmas album(that album gets me pumped up all the time for the christmas season, I just might have to listen to it now) But anyways the band that was playing was pretty good, all the children were loving it, their faces were filled with soo much joy, Mrs Claus was walking all around there, there was even a Deadpool character dressed as an Elf. My internet company Cogeco had a booth there, they were giving out free bags of popcorn, I grabbed two and put it in my backpack, saved them for my wife, she said they tasted amazing.
Blackwater, a local coffee company was giving out drinks, I grabbed myself a hot chocolate from them, it was well needed it was getting pretty cold outside, it made me grateful that I wasn't living in a tent with artic type temperatures, it is being a common thing here, because the rent is getting way too expensive.
I stuck around for about an hour, I wanted to stick around to see the fireworks and too see Santa and all the lights turned on, but I was getting too cold. I could always see the Christmas lights turned on at another time, I think it might be my wednesday walk
I started to walk home home, the sun was setting over The St Clair River, it was a beautiful sight
I got to see a neat tree that just got set up in another park!! Lots of people were there checking it out
