The old boots were just not good enough for another year of control and wormth. Still good they will drop into the mode of spare boots for emergencies or turning on a new skier
The New boots are Alpina Alaska. No ware near the old Alpina 2000s that they, of course, stopped making. These boots fit out of the box like a glove. Tomorrow we will give them a try.
