I think this is a common experience of artists, writers and musicians everywhere. People say to a guitarist "come and play in my restaurant for free, get the exposure." I wonder whether the restauranteur would be happy if people said, "come and let me eat in your restaurant for free, get the exposure"!
Really, it's very cheeky of whoever is looking for a job they need done.
