Al ver esta foto tan enraizada a lo que es nuestra hermosa cultura y folklore venezolano me hace pensar en la sencillez y calidez de esas tierras tan humildes por así decirlo en perspectiva de aquellos tiempos cuando la tecnología aun no estaba tan avanzada es increíble ver como esos finqueros y campesinos se las ingeniaban para recolectar y sembrar hectáreas de tierra y como no desperdiciaban ningún recurso, personalmente tengo experiencia en esto ya que en unas de mis vacaciones en ese tiempo estaba en primaria fui a visitar a mis primitos en una finca de unos familiares y para ese tiempo fue algo muy emocionante ver lo distinto que es la vida allá y la unión con la naturaleza y que a cierta hora de el día teníamos que resguardarnos ya que nuestro tío decía que nos llevarían los duendes y esas noches con oscuridad absoluta el cantar de los grillos la noche estrellada y la luz de los mechuzos con gasoil para espantar a los murciélagos son experiencias que llevo muy dentro de mi corazón, sin duda alguna no hay juguetes que se iguale a nuestros campos. >Seeing this photo, so deeply rooted in our beautiful Venezuelan culture and folklore, makes me think of the simplicity and warmth of those humble lands, so to speak. Looking back to a time when technology wasn't so advanced, it's incredible to see how those farmers and peasants managed to harvest and plant hectares of land, wasting no resources. I personally have experience with this, since during one of my vacations—I was in elementary school at the time—I went to visit my cousins on a relative's farm. It was very exciting to see how different life was there, the connection with nature, and how at a certain time of day we had to be inside because our uncle said the goblins would get us. Those nights in absolute darkness, the chirping of the crickets, the starry sky, and the light from the kerosene lamps to scare away the bats are experiences I hold dear in my heart. Without a doubt, there are no toys that can compare to our countryside.
