Someone commented on how this work you shared is "original"? Do you own the rights to portray Xenos? I am thinking not. There is nothing original about this piece. It is the typical request of your Tattoo aficionado and precisely what is wrong with art in the world today. People get so much acclaim for drawing/painting what already exists and do so without consent of the original owner. Draw Batman and people cream their jeans. Draw anything original, it gets ignored. Putting a lizard on the head of the subject does not make it original, nor excusable. I get it that this piece was wanted by your customer and you delivered, however, sharing it on here as "your work" is an outrage. It isn't your work. Giger did the work. which required him tapping into a different plane of existence. If Giger saw this, what do you think he would do? Take into consideration, Alex Gray flipped out because someone had their car painted with Tool's 10,000 Days album cover on the hood.

The online art world is dead to me. A mere 1% of artists online dare attempt to do anything original. This makes my job of finding an original work to share/showcase each day a chore more painful than it is worth.

What am I griping about? We are all about to be decimated and..... rightfully so?
