My first half of the day here in Sedona was rough, as I am not acclimated to the hotter weather. This was especially true considering that any business I would have to conduct would involve a 2 mile walk uphill. Taking on this walk, I made it to the grocery store to discover that I had no FS and the store charges $8 for a sandwich. A REGULAR sized sandwich...
Having only $15 to my name, I went to the god damned Burger King instead. Sad to say it but, if I live here long term, fast food is probably all I will be able to afford. At least I got a few nice pics. (see next post)
Then it rained/hailed off and on for about 4 hours. Here is the video.
I made my way out to the Wesleyan Church to obtain a free room voucher only to find the Pastor wasn't around. So I took my beer outside of town to sit and rain and drink it.
It is really too bad I didn't get that free room, as after it got too dark to draw, I went out to find some garbage can food when I bumped into two amazing, beautiful ladies who bought two drawings from me which put $40 in my pocket. They seemed to enjoy my company so I spent some time talking with them. I went back to their hotel with them. I would of been invited inside, but one them of was there with parents who would not of liked their daughter, who was clearly of a sound mind and body, bringing her new homeless artist friend inside.
They hooked me up with some Vodka and a slice of Pizza then the date was over. At least I got a hug out of the deal. The experience and the hugs were worth more to me than the $40. Hopefully things like this happen more often.
The Pizza I found on the trashcan was amazing as well...
Much Love!
