At the risk of providing you with more info than you asked for, let me lay out to you the economic structure of the LMAC. The LMAC is an open source project through and through and transparency is therefore a matter of course for us:

All rewards which arrive at the @lmac account go into the weekly prize pool of the LMAC contest (-> beneficiaries, curation rewards and lately, author rewards on the comments in the Final Poll posts).

During each contest cycle four posts are made from my account:

• New Challenge & Winner Anncouncement: Rewards go to @lmac-operations
• Final Poll: Rewards go to myself (@shaka)
• Top Picks LMAC Trail: 30% of rewards go to top picks (10% each), 70 % go to myself.

All rewards which arrive at the @lmac-operations account go to our three moderators (20%), our developer (30%), hosting of our website lmac.gallery (~15%) and building our operational reserve (~35%).

So this is the flow of rewards into and within the LMAC. Hope this helps to compare with how other communities operate on Hive and make an assessment.
