As a child, I enjoyed playing in the rain. In Texas, the weather is warm. The rain is also warm most of the time. We could play and be wet for hours. I remember walking barefoot in the mud and wading through puddles.

Even now that I am older it is pleasant to be outside for an afternoon rain. Unfortunately, it does not rain too often. When it does, I am typically at work. It would be unprofessional to go outside to get wet.

Up north in Wisconsin, the rain is very cold, even in the summer. You would get sick if you played outside for too long. It is great, however, for getting wet and then coming inside to warm up with some hot soup and a blanket.
