My thinking about Hive has evolved over time as well. I think of it now more as a utility that powers my blog and allows me to communicate with friends. For me, I simply do not have the time to read through very many blog posts for curation. And my posts don't earn enough to support me and my family. Just for comparison, I need roughly $120 daily to remain broke. I can't earn that here.
Instead, I follow a few people like you and mostly post for my own entertainment. I don't think that Hive is dying, necessarily. It's more like it's not a major part of our daily lives.
The Leo stuff is cool. But it's still too small to be useful for whales. $100,000 in liquidity is tiny for people with real money. In time, perhaps this will change. Untill then, this 'blogging business' is a game I play for entertainment to score HIVE points.
If my circumstances were different, perhaps I could afford to be more serious about it.
